Antonia Kasper is a writer, producer, actress, and director. Her one woman show, 45 Coffee Dates- recently won Honorable Mention in Shorts at The Marsh Theatre Festival and was a spotlighted show with Q and A about dating tips for The Marsh Stream Valentine’s Weekend. She is the founder of The Solo Artists Mastermind Group and Co-Founder of an all female writers, The Playwrights Circle. Antonia is a member of SAG/AFTRA, Dramatists Guild, Off-Broadway Alliance, The League of Professional Theatre Women, a TRU masters graduate and CTI Producer Graduate. In New York City, she studied theatre at Circle in the Square, Playwrights Horizons, and The Actors Studio.
My background and what's been happening!
A Tulane University Theatre/English Graduate who has experience in Stand-Up Comedy and a background in Musical Theatre. Kasper has performed and written for film/television and theatre. Her new production company, Kasper Productions, focuses on women driven material. She wrote, produced, and directed True Confessions of The Straight Man – (A 90’s Farce about mix-ups of sexual preferences celebrating Gay Pride) which played at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in June 2022.
In October 2022, she directed Phyllis Gordon in “Em-pathetic” selected for The Emerging Artists Theatre New Works Series.
She is also planning to relaunch one of her former Off-Broadway projects, Stripped, a black comedy jukebox musical, which touches on timeless topics such as: exploitation of people, money vs love, racism, me-too movement (before it was a movement) and sexual/gender identity.
Currently, Antonia is thrilled to be performing her one woman show 45 Coffee Dates “In search of my soulmate through cyberspace & beyond!” at the AMT. 45 Coffee Dates is based on her book (to be released) of her true-life story of how she met 50 men in 90 days through the internet over a cup of coffee so she could find a husband and possibly conceive a child.
